    North Carolina North Carolina has a Badge of Honor trail in the Uwharrie National Forest. The park is about an hour and a half east of Charlotte and an hour south of Greensboro. Don’t get distracted by the mountain and lake views, as this is a pretty tough trail. Dickey Bell Trail #91 (6-8 demanding to very challenging)
